All Playable Scrabble Words that Have No Vowels

It is not uncommon to find yourself without a vowel to play; for example, near the end of the game when you only have a few letters left. Fortunately, there are a number of playable words that consist only of consonants (for this discussion, we will treat the letter "Y" as being a vowel).

Many of the "no vowel" words are short and use letters of high value, meaning you'll often play them even when you have vowels to use. For instance, the word HM with its 4-point letter "H" can often be used on a triple letter multiplier. The word CWM (a Welsh word for a type of valley; the "W" is pronounced like "OO") can be used to remove undesirable letters from your rack.

Below is a list of all no-vowel words that are playable under OWL2. The list is in playrank order, meaning that the first word in the list is the most-often played word of the bunch, the second word is the second most-often played, and so on.

Words given in red are played with regularity; the others are rarely if ever seen in a game. The last three words (TSKTSK, TSKTSKS, ZZZ) are so rarely played they were not seen even once in a database of over 100,000 games!
